The Florida-based rapper's concept for the video stems from personal experiences of what it’s like to feel like an outcast among those we call family, and not being accepted by those who we feel we need acceptance from. He says, "that puts us in an awkward situation causing us to learn how to maneuver in the valley low and learn how not to just stay there but learn how to climb back up to the mountain top in the midst of feeling like a black sheep".
