4. D.Thomas
When Houston Texas native D.Thomas released The Quick Tape back in April it laid the foundation for listeners to get to know the emcee before the release of his upcoming album. Like Germaine Martel; D.Thomas is a jack-of-all-trades artist who also serves as a producer for himself and other artist. The Quick Tape was special because D.Thomas put his full array of skills on display by crafting an all-original project that is free for listeners to download. He went on to say that he created the mixtape in hopes to "inspire, motivate and hopefully provoke new thoughts about faith ( Faith in Christ), life, and love while at the same time allowing the listener to just have fun".
